What did you do before you joined ILG?

I was a Team Trainer for the fast food chain KFC. I was responsible for training new restaurant staff and management on how to cook the menu and teach them general kitchen operations including health and safety, food safety and maintaining high standards.

Why did you join ILG?

ILG had a vacancy for a Warehouse Trainer and given my experience in teaching I was drawn to the position. After some research into ILG, it became clear that they are a true success story who invest heavily in their staff, they have a clear vision for the future and are very committed to helping local charities – which was all very appealing to me.

What does your job involve?

My job is a varied one! I could be helping a new starter begin their career with ILG, I could be meeting with the implementation team to help roll out new training for the fulfilment teams or I may be asked to develop new training methods and materials for existing clients. All of that could be in one day!

What do you like most about your job?

What I like most of all is being a part of the future, helping to shape the next generation of the ILG family into determined, successful, resilient professionals.

How would you describe the opportunities for promotion?

One word……..EXCELLENT! ILG are always looking to find the right person for the right role across all our sites. ILG will move mountains to make a successful team.

How would you describe the training you have received?

From the first day, my training has been thorough and very well organised. ILG has an online training platform for all staff which includes documents, presentations, videos and hands-on training.
